City Plan:

Portland, Oregon is a multi-nuclei zone. It is easy for people to go to different places without needing transportation (car, bus etc.). Everything is in walking distance. The city is organized for each suburb to have the necessary facilities. The city runs on a grid system which makes it accessible by all forms of transport. The residential area is spread out and uses maximum space. The industrial areas are on the border of the city, ensuring pollution and disturbance is away from residential areas. Farming areas are located areas away from the main residential areas.
